The Dominion Trilogy
- "Nara" by ES Posthumus, from the album Unearthed

A perfect theme for Grant Borrows, particularly in Relentless. Also heard on the title credits of the TV show Cold Case, but the version heard there is remixed, and I prefer the original. I love the way it slowly builds in intensity; it suits Grant's mentality as he tumbles down the rabbit hole.
- "Requiem for a Tower" by Corner Stone Cues, from the album Requiem for a Tower

This song comes in three tracks, and is best known as the music from the trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. It works beautifully as a thematic statement for the entire trilogy.
- "Come On" by Andy Hunter, from the album Life

High energy techno. I picked this one as Payton's theme because it's lightning paced and it suits his super-fast movements. I can see him laying the smack down to this.
- "To the Roof" by John Powell, from the album The Bourne Supremacy
I love this track, have for years. It slowly adds layer upon layer of percussion and synths, starting out fairly simple but building to this complex action theme by the end. I listened to this one a ton while writing Relentless.
- "Teotihuacan" by Noel Gallagher, from the album The X-Files: The Movie

I always imagined this as a perfect "end titles theme" for a movie version of Relentless.
- "The Party" by James Newton Howard, from the album Lady in the Water

A contemplative theme that avoids being sleepy, and keeps the momentum moving. It's a quieter moment, but it still has the cool factor that would work for the scene in Relentless where Grant and the team are planning their attack on Inveo. Or the scene near the beginning of Fearless where the Morgan explains to everyone about the symbol of the Secretum.
- "Sector 6" by Steve Jablonsky, from the album The Island

Another great high-energy track. These were important to have playing while writing most of the trilogy's action scenes.
- "Summon the Worms" by Brian Tyler, from the album Children of Dune

A fantasy theme every bit as powerful as "Requiem for a Tower" and often heard in movie trailers. Fabulous, epic stuff.
- "Storming New Caprica" from the album Battlestar Galactica: Season Three

The quintessential battle theme. Works for any major fight scene.
- "Precipice" by Bear McCreary, from the album Battlestar Galactica: Season Three

Things grow infinitely darker as Fearless unfolds, setting up the events for Book Three. This track is tremendous with the foreboding and sense of dread, while keeping that all-important momentum moving.
- "Ashielf Pi" by ES Posthumus, from the album Cartographer

Used this one in the trailer for Merciless. It's one of those great tracks that just builds in intensity while shifting between musical ideas. Big and epic. (Are you sensing a theme?)
- "Jesus Is Carried Down" by John Debney, from the album The Passion of the Christ

A moody, awe-inspiring, yet completely terrifying track that sounds like an unstoppable force of nature. A spot-on theme for Oblivion.
- "Sector 7" by Steve Jablonsky, from the album Transformers: The Original Score

I considered using this in the trailer for Merciless, as it's perfect for the full-throttle action and suspense in Book Three.
- "Prelude to War" by Bear McCreary, from the album Battlestar Galactica: Season Two

Very militaristic, this one should play as the armies of the world gather to fight Oblivion in Merciless.
- "Phoenix Rises" by John Powell, from the album X-Men: The Last Stand

Epic and emotional, fits the climactic scene from Merciless to a T.
